Indy 6 Hour Special Event

Our team lined up for the Indy Road 6-hour iRacing special event with high hopes, and the race did not disappoint. Starting strong, we qualified on pole and executed a flawless, clean start. The first stint was smooth, setting a solid pace and managing the gap to the rest of the field. However, our first driver swap came with a costly mistake—we forgot to engage the pit limiter. The penalty sent us tumbling down the order to around P12-P14. Despite the setback, we refocused, determined to avoid the chaos that often accompanies endurance racing. Although we had a few run-ins with faster-class cars, which cost us valuable time, we kept pushing and stayed as clean as possible. By the final hour, our efforts paid off as we clawed our way back up to P3. On pure pace, we caught up to and overtook P2 on track, feeling ready to settle for a strong second-place finish. But racing can be unpredictable—in a surprising twist, P1 had to make a last-minute splash-and-dash for fuel on the second-to-last lap. This opened the door for us, and we seized the opportunity, crossing the line with a 12-second gap to take the win! It was an unforgettable victory and our first Indy 6-hour special event win on iRacing, showcasing our resilience and racecraft in the face of adversity.

We'd like to extend a massive thank you to our two incredible co-drivers @Michael Gee3 & @Mark Robinson8 - #29 for their unwavering commitment, dedication, and determination throughout this event. Their focus and teamwork were crucial in achieving this victory. It’s an honor to be part of such a driven and talented team, and this win wouldn’t have been possible without their efforts. Here’s to many more!
